Bimanual Teleoperation for Sorting
Remote sorting with a UR arm and a dual-arm robot, mapping human hand motion onto pick-and-place in cluttered bins.
Two 2025 teleoperation demos on sorting. In March a UR manipulator picked and placed parts from a cluttered scene. In July the same idea moved to a dual-arm platform so two hands could clear and place in parallel.
The operator’s hand and wrist motion drive the remote arms. These clips are the data-collection and debugging layer behind later visuo-haptic policy work: they show the workspace, the latency the operator has to live with, and the failure modes that a learned policy still has to handle.
